Way To Go, Eh?

So the federal government was going to increase beer taxes by 6.3% on April 1st.

And this was no April Fool's joke either.

But then our old reliable heroes came to the rescue!

That's right.  Bob & Doug.  The McKenzie brothers.

Apparently the boys put their toques back on and made a series of commercials for Beer Canada.

Ridiculous you say?

Well it worked.

In the federal budget released today, beer tax was only increased by 2%.

So is that good news?  Why raise the tax at all?

I think the boys should say to Trudeau, "Take a hike, you hoser!"

Anyway, 6% would have been killer.

"Coo loo coo coo, coo coo coo coo”
