You wouldn't want to be losing these priceless babies. I think the chain is worth more than the chairs.Apparently, these folks have put their chairs out the night before so they can get a front row seat for today's Calgary Stampede Parade - which passes right by my balcony.
Must be a good parade to put your heirlooms at risk.
Oh yeah, this string will stop any vandals ("They'll have to have a knife or something."). I can just see one of our local vagrants thinking, "Hey, snip snip, and I'm in the chair selling business".
"Need any chairs for the parade?"
