Eat Like A Pelican?

What if you could eat like a pelican?

Dinner time, you coming running into the dining room, waving your arms and yelling.

You slam yourself into the chair and drive your face into the plate.

You take the biggest bite you possibly can and then shake your head and bulge your eyes out.

You look at everybody then you run out of the room.  Ten minutes later you come back and do it again.  All day long.

Every day.

You know, you add a High-Def TV and a case of beer and this is now looking about as good as it can get.

And Round Two Goes To: Mother Nature!

A while back i posted a picture about an attempt to add more sand to this beach.    [See And The Winner Is....... for a recap.]

And if were we able to add it as fast as Mother Nature was taking it away.

The above pic answers that question, as you can see MaNa carving out a second tranche of sand from the beach.

Here's another look, a bit farther along.

Here's a comparison of the two spots about a month apart.

The difference here is that you can no longer see the red roofed building just in front of the high rise condo.  "I'm sinking, I'm sinking!"

Some of it is the angle, but MaNa has really taken a big bite out of our.......sand.

Oh well, time to buy another one of those tasty $15 Two-Fours.......

Come On, Canada!

I know it's not yer fancy Lakeport or Carling Light, but how come we pay $35 for a 2-4 and they can pay $15!

Where Was This Ad 30 Years Ago?

Well, at least I'm still qualified for the second part.....

And The Winner Is.......Mother Nature!

This beach recently underwent a multi-million dollar "renourishment" program.

A renourishment program is when tonnes and tonnes of sand are trucked and trucked and dumped and dumped on to the beach in an attempt to replace "missing" sand.

This is less than one month after the project was completed.

I think Mother Nature is saying,  "Really.....?"  and giving us the old finger on this one.......

I Love America!

Unidentified (American?) pointing out what is great about (his?) country;  32 ounce king cans of beer for $1.64!

And lots of them!

Shortly after this, he had to switch hands.

Happy Hour?  At $1.64, the whole damn day is happy!
