As a change from navel gazing, let's pull up to 30,000 feet and see was the rest of the world is doing, Covidwise. [As always, click on any graph to zoom in.]
This chart shows the daily Covid case rate (per million souls) for essentially the month of November.
It is very similar to the last global view, below, in that Europe dominates all the top spots. In this case 12, except this time the US has now muscled in to the top ten.
And Canada is still about the same % above the global average. And, of course, China is - still - at 0.
Maybe we could take a lesson from some in the animal world about associating with only those in your own household.

Not that I question your infinite wisdom but how can Sweden be in 6th place on the top chart and yet be showing a virtual zero in the 2nd chart? Inquiring minds want to know.
Good eye, Dave! The previous chart - where Sweden was 0 - was just a one-day snap shot. And I guess they didn't have, or didn't report, any cases that day. The chart today was the average one-day rate for almost the whole month of November. Sweden has now admitted they are in a tough situation and their "herd immunity" was not a good one....
Excellent reporting yet again, thank you!! Interestingly the media in Europe have now reported that OECD mis-calculated numbers for Sweden (and Germany, NL and Spain) - wonder where that'll put Sweden next? We might need another Arnotti newsgroup update on the international situation in December :) That said, pretty much everyone can conclude herd immunity was not the way to go!
I always just fast forward to the pretty pictures at the end. :)
"Air" hugs from your math-anxiety'd visual learner from NJ...
P.S. I really do like the picture show :)
