So the health "experts", or morons, as I call them, now have new guidelines for alcohol consumption.
Are you ready?
- 7 drinks a week is now considered high risk.
- 3-6 drinks a week is moderate risk.
- And laughably, only 0 drinks a week is no risk.
So a glass of wine with dinner each night? Then you, ma'am, are a heavy duty, high risk drinker, baby!
One of the only good things to come out of Covid is that I don't believe any experts anymore. Plus I've had way more experience drinking than any of these experts.
A little, respect, please.
And they also said not drinking won't actually let you live longer - it'll just seem that way. Ba da boom!
Cheers, mates.

pretty strange, eh
Will these guidelines affect insurance costs, etc.? Jeesh...
That being said I always feel odd telling the doc that I typically have 'a drink' with dinner every night. I usually cut back on my answer.
Don't worry - your doctor at least doubles whatever you tell him.
And no impact on insurance rates up here. :-)
