No, Just Embarrassing

 

Act like you've flown before.

But the article was actually about pilots reaction to people clapping, and saying they can interpret that passengers are amazed that the plane landed safely.

On the other hand, if it was a windy and turbulent descent maybe an appreciation to the pilots for them landing them safely. 

My dad, who was a pilot, when asked what is a good landing, would often say, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

Okay, so I guess it wasn't only my dad who said that....

Although for these passengers, I would think it's likely that they're just happy they've landed at their vacation destination.
