Olympic Medals

So here is the current count of the total medals won by country for the 2024 Paris Olympics. [Click on the chart to get better view.]

The US is at the top.  With 103 total medals. 

But Canada is doing pretty well, at 11th place with 22 medals.

But, hey,  we are a small country.  How about medals won per population?

I bet we'd be near the top of the heap!

So here is Medals won per million population.....

What?!

We are doing even worse - 14th place.

And look at al those little - and some not so little - countries ahead of us.

Yikes!

...was rushed to the Toronto Western Hospital the day he died....?

[Where I was born and the day I was born....]

His tombstone is in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, only a few miles from that hospital....
