The hits just keep in coming for Quebec.
New cases are skyrocketing, with nearly 1,000 in Quebec in each of the last two days. With over 500 in Ontario each day.
[As always, click on any graph to zoom in.]
Deaths are lower than yesterday, when Quebec recorded nearly 150 deaths, but still very high.
With virtually all of the country's new deaths in Quebec and Ontario.
And almost half recorded in long term care homes. [By now we should be removing the word "care" from that descriptor.]
So let's see if we are flattening the curve. Two views;
Quebec may have looked to have leveled out, but that is leveling out at an extremely high number (see below).
Alberta has certainly stubbed its toe recently. But whatever BC is doing is continuing to work.
Second view shows the provinces on the same scale.
With Quebec over twice as high as any other province. Alberta reaching for Ontario. And BC, as noted, low and going lower.
And if you look back, until March 24th, BC was the highest. I guess the British Columbians got out of the pool when they were told to. And are probably home schooling, too.
Which could be good, or bad.
