Rosedale being one of the most exclusive neighourhoods in the city of Toronto.

The irony here is, nobody in Rosedale has even taken a bus.

So I guess this must be for nannies and landscapers and cleaning ladies.

Some Times You're Just Happier Being Bad

So briefly.....

• at 2am police spot them behind a construction site
• buddy drove his car at and struck the patrol car
• buddy and spouse took off and drove into a ditch
• officer followed and deployed his canine partner, Cash.
• buddy reversed, hit the dog and the patrol car (again, I guess)
• they crashed again and climbed a fence to a home - owned by the mayor
• cops caught them (before the mayor pulled his licensed pistol on them)
• buddy reached into his waistband, at which time the officer released Cash and Cash got his revenge
• buddy is now in the hospital, charged with;
• armed burglary, 
• two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, 
• use of a deadly weapon on a police K-9, 
• resisting arrest, and 
• possession of Buprenorphine

If You Ever Needed A Reason Not To Do Drugs....

 

...this is it.

Not for the possible jail time.  Or ruining other's lives.

But what it does to your face.

You Think Your Day Was Bad......

 

That just about says it all.

Although I didn't even know there were lobster divers.

So he was 45 feet under water when all of a sudden everything went black.

He was in the humpback whale for about 30 seconds and he started kicking the whale's head. From the inside, of course.  

Then he spit him out.

In happier times, I suspect.

Although no broken bones, just some bruises.

Great story to tell.  Although the humpback will forever tell his buddies all about the one that got away.

And The Rich Get On Getting.....

 ,,,I don't even need to finish that, do I.

ProPublica published an analysis they did of IRS information on wealthy Americans. And what these wealthy Americans did is all legal.

Here are some examples:

• Warren Buffet: 
• between 2014 & 2018 reported a wealth growth of 24B$.  
• And paid 24M$ in federal tax.  
• That's a rate of 0.1%
• Jeff Bezos: very similar; wealth growth 99B$, taxes paid 1.0B$.
• Elon Musk: very similar; wealth growth 14B$, taxes paid 0.5B$.

The point of this story is not to make you feel bad.  The part of the story that should make you feel bad is:

The IRS shoots the messenger.

Which may have seemed like a good idea when they were first married, sure.

But now that he's 84.....

And as a side comment, I wonder how many people wear sunglasses in the bedroom. I know I do but I wonder how many other people.

So You Think You're Having A Bad Day

 I posted this yesterday.....

...but he's not the only one having a bad day.

Or having this job, likely in the 1820's.

On the other hand, here's making the best of a bad situation...

So just because bars and patios aren't open, it's not the end of the world.

But...when they do open......

So close to their self-professed target.
