The Man Wasn't Even From Florida
This Nevada man didn't like the sentence the judge had just handed down, so decided to do something about it.
So he ran up to the judge and launched himself over her desk and flattened her.
So that probably wasn't such a good idea.
Now, instead of spending 2 to 4 years in prison for felony battery, he's now going to be locked up for 26 to 65 years for attempted murder.
I thought I heard his lawyer say, "Hey, where are you going?"

That's How It's Done
Unlike the ungrateful Nova Scotia high school principal who requested that veterans do not wear their uniforms on Remembrance Day for fear of triggering some of her students.
See Where Does It Stop? for a sad reminder.
The above took place at the traditional - 125th - year end Army-Navy football game.
The appropriate response to our veterans is, per the referee, "Thank you for your service."

Finally A Good News Story...
...but it didn't start that way.
As Hurricane Milton bore down on Southwest Florida the first week of October, passersby were horrified to see a terrified dog tied to a fence in a water filled ditch on the side of I-75.
State troopers were dispatched to try and coax the understandably reluctant dog into their car. That dog didn't trust anybody.
He was taken to the humane shelter where he was named, quite appropriately, Trooper.
But he languished there for quite a while, as he was very apprehensive and agitated around any potential adopters. Especially males, like his former owner.
However, last week one couple came in and he immediately bonded with them, nuzzling them and looking relaxed. Apparently the male, Frank, was an experienced bull terrier owner.
So now, the only question would be, would Trooper get along with Dallas, the couple's bull terrier.
Well that question was answered very quickly. Trooper and Dallas are inseparable.
Oh, and one more bit of good news to this story; Trooper's former owner is awaiting his court date. He faces up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
Sweet.....
