I live in Calgary, facing the Bow River and the majestic Rocky Mountains. This is a shot of the Bow River from my porch/balcony. The river's there, under all that snow and ice.
Winter likely isn't the best time for a shot, but that's what happens when you make a New Year's resolution and start in January.
It's actually very sunny today, but I guess my 1.3 megapixel piece of crap camera hides that fact fairly well.

Yup, crappy camera those phones. I mean, did you see the hanging in Iraq, what poor quality. Really, though, a fair digital camera, not expensive Jim, really makes a difference.
