Can You Imagine.....
...that the Ball Boy did it?
Background
The New England Patriots got caught using "deflated" footballs during last weekend's AFC Championship game.
"Deflated" footballs allegedly are easier to throw and catch.
The Refs weigh the 12 footballs (12 for each team) before the game them give to the team ball boys for safe keeping prior to the game. At half time the Refs found that 11 of the 12 New England footballs had some air let out of them.
Hey! That's cheating'!
Their coach, Bill Belichick, said he knew nothing about it.
Their quarterback, the intense Tom Brady, said he knew nothing about it.
So if we are to believe Mssrs. Belichick & Brady, I guess it comes down to "the ball boy did it".
So.....can you imagine, some little ball boy, before an NFL playoff game, decides he's going to let the air out of the footballs without telling anyone.
Maybe it's that the ball boy decides he's going to prank possibly the most anal and detailed coach in NFL history and one of the most intense quarterbacks in NFL history during a playoff game.
Good plan!
Probably told his buddies "Dudes.....watch for something cool during the game....."
That's like me adding a selfie of my boss to his PowerPoint slides as he's presenting to the President and sitting in the back, laughing my butt off.
Didn't happen.
However, I'm sure there is one thing Belichick and Brady legitimately didn't understand; who the hell didn't deflate ball #12?!

In General I Support Them
Automobile Handicapped Parking Permits, that is.
And that these folks should be given some preferential parking privileges. But......
Come On, Man!
There's got to be a limit!

The Boys Of Summer
While it is still too early for Spring Training, it's never too early to complain about the Blue Jays.
Should they spend more, should they dump some underachievers, should they just give up.
So how did the Jays do?
Here is a look at team payroll versus wins from last year. Wins up the right side and spending along the bottom. Average team payroll is the dotted green line.
Ten teams make the playoffs. Playoffs?!
So doing the math, last year, five teams were above the average and five below.
So except for the very low $$$ (and the Marlins and 'stros have other problems beside payroll) looks like just spending your brains out doesn't work.
Because the Pirates, A's, O's, Royals and Cards are all under the average, but made the playoffs.
What are they doing that the Jays aren't - besides...uhhh...making the playoffs?
Jays are like Goldilocks; right in the middle of payroll and middle of wins.
And that gets you Bupkis. Which as a friend and loyal reader always says, is the same as absolutely nothing. And has been for the last 20 years.
Thank goodness we've always got the Leafs.......

That Didn't Take Long!
My little bungalow's gettin' all growed up.
Okay, okay, it hasn't been rebuilt that fast.
But construction trucks are now on site. See D'oh! for a refresher.
You're Next!
Nobody can be too smug.

I'm Pretty Sure.....
...that any aliens landing in SW Florida wouldn't think this was Planet Fitness.
Maybe Planet Stretchpants. Or Planet Buffet.
"Take me to your eater!"
No wonder we've lost the Battle of the Bulge - just noticed this sign.

I Think I Know A Few.....
While out and about watching homes get demolished, came across someone with a car like mine.
Since it is 14 years old, not that many of them around anymore.
Now what's that front bumper sticker say...?
Well...... This may belong to someone I know.
Or someone I want to know.......

That Didn't Take Long....
...to demo that little bungalow.
It actually took a lot less time than this to demo as this was taken only a couple of days after the last pic.
Obviously I have a lot better things to be doing that just sitting around posting photos. You think beer drinks itself?
That Didn't Take Long - Part Deux
And two days later, they cleaned it up reeeeeeal good.
And these teeny, tiny bungalows are sitting on humungous lots. Must be 80 by 200.
You could fit a couple of these on it.....
