Those crazy Canucks!

But not the skiing types from the 1970's.

But these Canuks are still pretty crazy.

This is an annual competition in Whitehorse, Yukon, in way northern Canada.

Look up.  Way up!  And to the left.

Definitely not like those sissy towns like Toronto & Montreal that are way down.  And to the right.

So I guess they dunk themselves in water - hot water, I assume, from the name of the location, Nordic Hot Springs - then fling their heads, and subsequently their hair, around.

The results can be...shocking!

I'm guessing there might also have been something warm - or cold - consumed before the contest.

    

Fun for the whole family.

So good on them to make the best out of a cold situation.

Although hopefully a colder situation will be be upon them soon, as they had to cancel this year's competition.
