Wait, There's More

 


So this poor weather guy from the local station here obviously drew the short straw and had to schlep himself the five hours all the way up to Pensacola, Florida. (Truth be known - he's actually the chief meteorologist in Fort Myers.)

Where he found was what I had been blogging about already; it's snowing there. 


And a lot. They had already received over 6" of snow yesterday. That doubles the previous record - from 1893. 



The temperature was 23°F, which I think was also a record. 

I'm not sure if this is also a record, but you don't often see snow on palm trees. 



Oh, I long for the good old days....
