This is a real Argo game.
This is not before the game.
This is not after the game.
This was in the middle of the game.
And this was a game to lock up home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
So this was not a test. And although it wasn't a real emergency (even though it looks like the fire alarm had been pulled) it should be seen as an emergency to the owners of the Argos.
This sad saga will come to a head, luckily, one way or another, in 2017, when their lease runs out at Skydome and they have to move, as the Blue Jays are finally installing real grass.
Where they will move....is a another whole issue.
Stay tuned.
Or not. No one else seems to care, so why should you......

And why is the attendance so poor? Is it the venue? The beer/food prices? The on field product? Do folks prefer to watch on TV?
Would a more intimate, real grass venue with cheap beer be better? A Northern guy just has to know.
It's all the venue. Oh, and the $11 beers. But it is like a morgue in there.
But there is no other place.
When the U of T was re-doing Varsity Stadium, it was the perfect opportunity. But they didn't like having those loud Argo fans so close. Ick.
When they built BMO Field for soccer, it was the next perfect opportunity. But MLSE said, No it's for soccer only! Soccer fans don't want Argo fans there. It's ours! Wah!
So the poor Argos have nowhere to go.
Hmmmmm....how is Ralph Wilson's health....?
Ralph Wilson????
Owner of the Bills. He's 95. When he dies, the Bills will leave Buffalo. And move to......?
