So as the sun sets on Day 14 and Santa Rosa Beach....
...the boys are filled with renewed optimism (and with new tires and spokes) and are looking forward exploring the rest of Florida's Panhandle.
Although Day 14 was a soggy mess, beautiful riding today.
With the wind at their backs (hey, could I get a Pulitzer for this?) they made excellent time until....correct."Hey Pa."
"Yeah, boy?"
"Pa, did you get the license number of the truck that sold us them there magic tires?"
"Why boy?"
"Them dad gum things did done broke."
"No boy, them's magic tires. Plus we got ourselves a tail-light guarantee."
Somehow the "flat resistant" tires weren't.
Next time I'd look for flat proof tires. Resistance is futile.
And looks like the weather turned on them at the same time, hence the laundry drying on the line.
Luckily the lads were only km's from....
That good wind really helped them cover the 129 clicks quickly, in spite of the technical difficulties.
So all was forgotten as they landed in another Spring Break paradise.
Hey, and if a Jimmy Buffett Parrothead Club is here, it's gotta be a good place.
Hey, what's going on down there....?
So according to local reports, the boys had a long evening of business meetings. But, as they say, somebody had to do it.
Looks like lots of cities down here have the old Mardi Gras theme going on.
Tomorrow I'm guessing the boys will be getting their drawl thang on as they cross into Alabama.
Go Crimson Tide!
