Kindness And Compassion

Oh, and honesty.

So what happened yesterday, starting with new COVID cases in Canada.

[As always, click on any graph to zoom in.]

Alright, steady as she goes.  What about the centre of the universe?

Ontario looks to be stuck as well.  Can't get below 300 new cases per day (which is about 20 cases / million population).

Yesterday, for example, Ontario had 304 cases - 80 of them in Peel Region!  Peel is to the west of Toronto, home to Mississauga and Brampton.  Big house party I didn't get invited to?  Busload of seniors from Alberta?  Or that old chestnut, "reporting issues"?

Regardless, one day it's here, the next day it's there.  Come on! Soon I won't even be able to get my patio shorts on, let alone worrying about them being way too tightie tight!   Ouff....

On a more pleasant topic - deaths yesterday.

Wow, haven't been that low since early April.  Hospitalizations also a good indicator of trends.  But the crack Arnotti Thoughts field team has really let me down here.  It's not like they have much else to do.

But if this continues, we may well be on the way to opening up more businesses.  Maybe even including restaurants.

I read about a new one hoping to open up in Toronto, called Karma.  There's no menu, you get what you deserve.
