Like Watching Paint Dry

[Ed. Note: Much like reading this blog.]

Slowly, ever so slowly daily new Canadian COVID cases are dropping,

[As always, click on any graph to zoom in.]

But over the past week, a definite trend is emerging.   What about Ontario....

Thicker paint drying here, as the trend line moves lower even more slowly....

Let's look at the provincial data, to really show the differences among the have (cases) and the have-nots.

Some provinces and territories haven't had a new case in weeks.  You can imagine how boring their blogs must be.  But everybody else must be still sneezing all over each other.

And this - from a Pearls Before Swine strip, by Stephan Pastis - was from a few months ago, to boot.

Bring on May 2-4 .... The official start of summer. BBQ and beers. I do notice the more beer you have the closer you get to people. One would expect that in about 2 weeks time a mountainous curve will rise? I can tell you people can only be held in check for so long. Eventually, you bust loose and want to enjoy summer! If it doesn't happen - - caution will get thrown to the wind and we may have to pay the price for our fun. Hope it's not me! Carpe diem!
